ZAUK is a Delhi-based interior studio founded in 2026 by Mohd Zubair, Aamir Islam and Ubaid Ulla. While the studio is new, our work in interiors goes back to 2012, giving us more than a decade of experience designing and delivering residential and commercial spaces.

We design and build everything from kitchens, wardrobes and bathrooms to workspaces and complete homes. Our designers, joiners and site teams work closely together throughout the process, keeping the design and execution connected from the first measurement to the final installation.

Since 2016, we have also developed our own joinery workshop, allowing us to make much of what we design ourselves and maintain greater control over the details, materials and finish.

A good design should not get lost between the drawing and the build.

That is why we keep the two together.

The same team that sits down with you, understands how you live and develops the design stays with it all the way through the build. We measure, design, make, install and finish the space ourselves.

It changes the way we work. Decisions are made with the actual space in mind, not from behind a desk. Details can be refined as they come to life. Problems are dealt with by the people who understand why something was designed the way it was in the first place.

Our workshop makes the joinery. Our site team puts it together, finishes it and checks every last detail. There is no passing the drawing from one company to another and hoping everything comes through intact.

For us, the job is not finished when the design looks good on paper. It is finished when the space feels right, works properly and looks exactly as it should.

Because you should not have to wonder whether the home you approved is the home that will be built.

2012

A drawing board and one workshop bench

The studio starts as a two-person practice taking on single-room fit-outs across South Delhi.

2016

Production brought in-house

Rather than subcontract joinery, we open our own workshop — the decision that still defines how we work.

2020

Full-home interiors

The team grows to cover complete residential handovers, from measured survey to final styling.

2023

Commercial fit-outs

Workspace and retail projects join the book, bringing the same single-team model to larger sites.
