Who we are
This website, zaukstudio.com, is run by ZAUK Engineering Private Limited, which trades as ZAUK Studio (“we”, “us”). We design, make and install interiors from our studio at F 73B, 4th floor, Khizarabad, New Friends Colony, New Delhi 110025.
We decide why and how the personal data you give us on this site is used, so under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 we are its data fiduciary. This policy is also our privacy policy under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into our forms, plus a few technical details sent with each form.

If you call, email or message us on WhatsApp, we will also have whatever you share in that conversation.
What we don’t collect
- No analytics, advertising or tracking tools run on this site. We don’t build profiles of visitors.
- We don’t take payments on this site, so we never see card or bank details here.
- We don’t ask for identity documents (such as Aadhaar or PAN) on this site.
How we use it
We use your details, with your consent given when you send a form, to:
- reply to you, call you back, and arrange a design session or site visit;
- prepare and send you a quotation, and follow up on it;
- keep you updated about your enquiry or project by phone, email or WhatsApp;
- send the newsletter, if you subscribed to it;
- keep our forms working and free of spam and misuse;
- meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We will only call or message you about the enquiry you made. We don’t pass your number to anyone to sell you other products.
Cookies and browser storage
This site does not set cookies. It saves two small things in your own browser, which never leave your device:
- how many columns you chose in the gallery, so it stays the same next time;
- when we last sent you a verification code, so the form can show the wait before you ask for another. This is cleared when you close the tab.
You can clear both at any time in your browser’s settings.
How long we keep it
- Verification codes: 10 minutes, then deleted.
- Enquiries: for as long as we are discussing or carrying out your project, and afterwards for as long as the law or a possible dispute requires. You can ask us to delete an enquiry sooner (see Your rights).
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
How we protect it
The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Our enquiry system can only be opened by our team, with their own accounts. Verification codes are stored scrambled, not as written. No method is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care, and if a breach ever affects your data we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we have used it;
- correct, complete or update it;
- erase it, unless we must keep it by law;
- stop using it, by withdrawing your consent. This does not affect what we did before you withdrew it, and we may then be unable to continue with your enquiry;
- deal with it on behalf of someone you nominate, if you die or become unable to act.
To use any of these rights, write to us at the address in Grievances and contact. To leave the newsletter, reply to any newsletter email or write to us. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
This site is meant for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us for you. We don’t knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects data you have already given us, we will tell you before it applies.
